February 2013

"Please pass our thanks along to Maestro Alexander! It was a wonderful evening and such a unique experience. And... being able to experience a rehearsal up close was amazing too. Please thank Maestro for his encouraging manner and inspiring talk pre-conducting. I could have listened for more! Lindsay just loved the time and at one point just let the big sound wash over her! She loved it! Thank you for your gracious hosting and for the warm welcome from the very patient musicians! Sorry I didn't write sooner but Lindsay's sister who was there on Tuesday and very pregnant gave birth yesterday morning. We've been a little distracted! Perhaps that beautiful music helped things along? Labour was short and fast and we have our first grandson! Thanks so much for a very special and wonderful evening."

Kevin Fleetwood, Audience member
